About SellerSized
SellerSized is a free, browser-based photo prep tool for people who sell online. It takes the photos on your phone or camera and turns them into files that match what each marketplace actually wants: the right pixel dimensions, the right aspect ratio, square padding where feeds crop to squares, and a file size under the platform's cap.
Why it exists
Every marketplace has its own photo rules, most of them half-documented. Etsy wants 2000 px on the shortest side but chokes on heavy files. eBay won't zoom unless you hit 1600 px. Amazon main images must sit on pure white. Poshmark and Depop center-crop your covershot to a square whether you like it or not. Sellers end up juggling a resizer here, a compressor there, and a lot of guessing — for every single listing. SellerSized folds all of that into one step you can run on a whole batch at once.
Your photos never leave your device
Most free image tools upload your files to a server to process them. SellerSized doesn't — there is no processing server. All resizing, padding, and compression happens inside your own browser using your device's processor. That makes it fast, it works even offline once the page is loaded, and it means we couldn't look at your photos even if we wanted to. As a bonus, re-encoding strips EXIF metadata, including the GPS location of where a photo was taken — which, for most sellers, is their home.
How the site is supported
The tool is free with no signup, no watermarks, and no artificial limits. Running costs are covered by ads on the page. That's the whole business model — we don't sell data, and we never see your images.
Keeping the specs honest
Where a marketplace publishes official numbers, we use them and label them as official. Where a platform doesn't publish hard rules, we use widely-adopted working targets and label those too. We re-check the specs periodically, and if you spot a change before we do, tell us — we'll verify it and update the preset.
